Below is a limited list of City fees a developer could expect to encounter. It is simply an overview of the most common fees, but by no means should it be considered a complete list and may change from time to time. A more detailed list can be obtained from City Hall – (909) 864-8732.

Conditional Use Permit Review Minor - $850 fixed fee
Major - $7,300
Design Review Permit Minor - $2,300*
Major - $5,900*
Tentative Tract Map Review $10,200*

Tentative Parcel Map Review $4,100*
Sign permit (Code Review) $65 fixed fee + 25% if copy changed.
Rough Grading Plan Check

Fixed fee for 1st 3 checks; $1,620 minimum (up to 5,000 cy) + cumulative

5,001 - 10,000 cy $1,620 + $.215/cy
10,001 - 15,000 cy $2,695 + $.08/cy
15,001 - 20,000 cy $3,095 + $0.55/cy
20,001 - 35,000 cy $3,370 + $.04/cy
35,001 - 50,000 cy $3,970 + $.03/cy
50,001 - 100,000 cy $4,420 + $.025/cy
100,000 cy + $5,670 + $.015/cy

Fee includes 3 full plan checks & a fourth signature check. Additional deposits after the third check will be collected in increments $1,500. If rough grading is combined with precise grading plan, applicant shall pay the higher of plan check fee for rough grading plan or precise grading plan, but not both fees.

Precise Grading Plan Check

Fixed fee for the 1st three checks:(A) Residential (with subdivision map)

101-200 lots $4,620 + $22/lot over 100

Fee includes 3 full plan checks & a fourth signature check. Additional deposits will be collected after the third check in increments of $1,500.00. If rough grading plan is combined with precise grading plan, applicant shall pay the higher of plan check fee for rough grading plan, or precise grading plan, but not both fees.

Final Tract Map Review Fixed fee of $2,200 plus $38/lot on the 1st three checks. Fee includes three full plan checks and a fourth "signature" check. Additional deposits after the third check will be collected in increments of $1,000.
Final Parcel Map Review Fixed fee for 1st three checks & 4th signature check:$2,350 for residential, commercial & industrial (4 lots or less); or $2,350 + $22/lot for commercial and industrial (5 lots or more). Fee includes three full plan checks and a fourth "signature" check. Additional deposits will be collected after the third check in increments of $1,000.

Building Construction Inspection - Commercial Fee based on Table 1A of the 2001 Uniform Building Code; or the RCS "Fully Burdened" hourly rate for all personnel involved, plus any out-of-pocket expenses for contract personnel, special equipment or supplies, other state or county fees applicable charges against a deposit; whichever captures the full cost of the City.
